We would like to thank USS students Stuart David, Rob McIntosh and Katelyn Cranney for a great presentation on the Leadership Program here at Uxbridge Secondary. It was informative and the slide show was very entertaining!
Next Meeting
The next SCC meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the school library. Our new Chair is John Carroll and our new Secretary is Heidi Goodman. All USS parents are encouraged to attend. All SCC meetings take place the last Tuesday of the month. There is no meeting in December, March or June.
Of Interest
Following the SCC meeting there was a Community Forum on the Uxbridge Youth Centre. Many questions were raised and discussed. All present were quite impressed with a student survey iniative and the participation of USS students Melissa Carroll and Duncan Parviainen.
As another school year comes to an end, your SCC would like to wish all USS students and parents a wonderful and safe summer!
